Our chapter has five committees that members can get involved in!
Competitive Affairs
This committee works on the AMA Collegiate Case Competition, which brings top marketing students to work on a challenge from a sponsoring organization. Throughout the fall semester, the team works to complete the challenge presented to them. For the 2022-2023 school year, the Case Competition Committee received a third place finish amongst 79 competitors and had the opportunity to pitch their case to Wall Street Journal representatives.

Professional Development
The Professional Development Committee entails actively participating in a group dedicated to enhancing the professional growth and development of our RMU AMA chapter. As a committee member, your responsibilities and involvement may include collaborative planning, program development, event setup/cleanup, assisting with Marketing Week, networking, and committee meetings. Joining the Professional Development Committee offers a chance to contribute to the professional development culture of the organization, shape learning opportunities, and help members gain valuable experience to thrive in their future endeavors.

Social Media
Members of this committee will be responsible for helping with social media post designs. Members work on any creative media send out by the organization.

Consulting
The purpose of the community outreach committee is to plan and execute volunteer events and consulting opportunities for AMA members. Our committee is responsible for advocating for social causes and creating a positive impact on the community. We are a team that works for the greater good while also helping students grow their marketing and customer service skills.

Fundraising
Members of this committee will be responsible for brainstorming and setting up at least two fundraisers each month to aid the RMU AMA chapter in being competitive nationwide. Brainstorming ideas, contacting businesses and organizations, setting and meeting goals, and communicating fundraisers with the rest of the student body are all roles those in this committee are expected to fulfill. If you are creative and goal-oriented, consider joining our fundraising team!
