The organization prides itself on the variety of events and activities created for members. Below is a list of sample events and activities.

• AMA CAREER FAIR

  • A career fair open to all majors provides members with exclusive opportunities to obtain internships and full-time jobs upon graduation​. PNC Bank, REI, Panera Bread (Covelli Enterprises), Mondelez International, Northwestern Mutual, ADP, and many more firms have attended the career fair. 

• RESUME REVIEW

  • Human Resources professionals visit to provide members with resume, application, and interview advice. A one-on-one resume review is open to all members during the session. ​

• CASE COMPETITION COMMITTEE

  • Participate in realistic problem identification and solving for ​a sponsoring firm. This chapter participates both regionally and nationally. Past sponsors include: Ice Breakers, eBay, PPG Paints, MaryKay and MedExpress. 

• SALES COMPETITION COMMITTEE

  • Participate in realistic sales pitches to industry professionals. This chapter participates regionally. Fastenal is a past sponsor.

• MONTHLY MEMBER MEETINGS

  • Meetings are focused around a specific topic which can improve your professional, academic, and personal life. ​

• MARKETER SPEAKER SERIES

  • A speaker from the marketing field visits the University to discuss their professional journey.

• MARKETING CONSULTING OPPORTUNITIES

  • Work with a community business to improve their marketing mix. ​

• OUTREACH & ADVOCACY

  • The chapter participates in various outreach events in the community including a canned food drive and walks in Pittsburgh.​
